Hammersmith & Shepherds Bush, West London

Hammersmith is situated between Shepherds Bush, Chiswick, Fulham and Kensington in West London. It is a key transport hub ideally located for both business and leisure travellers.

By road

Hammersmith is in West Central London on the A4 just 4 miles to the Centre of London this follows a direct route from the M4 motorway leading from Heathrow airport a further 17 miles.

The M40 is to the north west of London, it becomes the A40, take the exit marked White City, Westfield or Shepherds Bush. Follow the signs to Hammersmith which lead to Shepherd’s Bush Green and turn left on to Shepherd’s Bush road.

From north London follow the M1 turn right to join the A406 head for Neasden and Hanger lane. Turn left for the A40 or if there is heavy traffic follow the A406 to Ealing then join the A4 at Chiswick roundabout to Hammersmith.

From South London use either the M3 or the A3 both of which lead to the South circular A406. Follow the signs to Putney or Fulham which lead to Hammersmith.

Hammersmith has some of the best transport connections in London. There are 4 Underground lines: the District, Circle, Hammersmith and City and Piccadilly lines, giving easy access into and out from Central London, as well as numerous bus routes from Butterwick bus station inside Hammersmith tube.

Hammersmith is at the end of the M4 motorway, easily connected to all parts of the UK by the M25 Motorway and only a 20 minute drive to Heathrow Airport, or if your prefer to walk, there are a variety of fashionable pubs, bars and live music venues, a number of international businesses and the River Thames, all within easy walking distance around Hammersmith.
